Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama(HMMA) has hosted successful clothing drives several times a year since 2007. This year, from May 11 thru May 29, 2009, clothing bins were placed strategically throughout the plant and at the turnstiles to make it easier for Team Members to donate much needed clothing. The clothing was then collected, sorted and loaded into a 2009 Hyundai SantaFe for delivery.

Donations are made to various organizations such as the Family Sunshine Center, the Brantwood Children’s Home & the Salvation Army. This year’s spring donation recipient was, Aid to Inmate Mother’s which provides clothing for incarcerated mothers who are close to completing their sentences and headed to work release centers. HMMA and its Team Members are proud to be a part of something that can help make a big difference in the lives of children and adults in need.
