HMC pledged its official sponsorship in 1999 for the next ten international soccer events hosted by FIFA around the world, including the 2002 World Cup in Korea and Japan.

HMC was able to participate in the 2006 German World Cup as an official sponsor, and is going to continue its sponsorship of FIFA until the year 2014. This sponsorship provides HMC with various channels to reach soccer fans around the world and provide vehicles for official occasions. These international events also provide HMC with opportunities to expose its brand and logos in the media throughout the world.
